Logistics Coordinator
We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to become an integral part of our team! This is a warehouse lead position responsible for managing the flow of goods throughout the supply chain, overseeing all aspects of shipment coordination, including order processing, inventory management, transportation arrangements, and delivery tracking, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers while maintaining cost-effectiveness. This position reports to the Director of Sales.

Responsibilities:

Order processing: Receiving customer orders, verifying details, and pick, assemble, address, pack, and ship merchandise or material. Load/Unload LTL and/or Full Truckload Shipments using a standard fork-lift. (Must be forklift qualified)
Inventory management: Monitoring stock levels, coordinating replenishment orders with management, and managing warehouse space. Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material.
Transportation coordination: Arranging shipping methods, selecting carriers, negotiating freight rates, and scheduling pick-ups and deliveries.
International Shipments: Prepare documents and orders for compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
Shipment tracking: Monitoring shipment progress, resolving delivery issues, and communicating updates to customers.
Documentation management: Preparing shipping documents, invoices, and customs paperwork.
Cost analysis: Tracking shipping expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and managing budgets.
Supplier management: Communicating with suppliers regarding order status, quality control, and delivery timelines.
Customer service: Addressing customer inquiries regarding order status, delivery issues, and returns. Managing returns as a part of customer service excellency.

Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Excellent communication skills: Clear and concise communication with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
Analytical skills: Ability to interpret data and identify areas for improvement.
Problem-solving skills: Identifying and resolving logistics challenges efficiently.
Proficiency in logistics software: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and other relevant software.
Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in order processing and documentation.
International Shipping experience a plus!
